The Artetonal Ensemble was formed in 2008 by a group of six young musicians from Munich. The members originating from multi-national backgrounds want to dedicate themselves to chamber music in addition to their commitments in orchestras and as soloists. The flexibility of the Artetonal Ensemble to perform in various instrumentations – as trio, quartet, quintet and sextet – is of particular appeal. Aside from performances as piano-sextet, Artetonal Ensemble’s extensive repertoire as piano-quintet and as traditional woodwind-quintet ranges over 4 centuries.
