Olga Papikian, born in Moskau/Russia, already gave concerts at the age of nine. She proceeded to study piano and singing at the Moskau Tschaikowsky-conservatoire. After completing her degree with distinction she absolved a master class under Prof. Igor Kotliarevsky. Olga Papikian is price winner of numerous musical contests like the Newport International Piano Competition (Performance with the BBC Orchester) and the international Johannes Brahms Wettbewerb in Pörtschach/Österreich. She participated in various festivals like the “Russian Winter“in Moskau, the “Musical Kremlin“ and the Internationalen Bach-Festival. Eun-Hye Lee, born in Soul/South Korea, studied flute at the National University of Arts with Prof. Zeverev and Prof. Back and at the Seoul Arts Highschool. Thereafter she completed her studies with distinction at the Richard-Strauss-Konservatorium with Prof. Philippe Boucly. Numerous master classes with notable flutists shaped up her education. Eun-Hye Lee won several awards, among them at the Seoul Flute Contest and the Music Journal Contest. She works with several Munich Orchestras on a temporary basis and worked from 2008-2009 with the Nürnberg and the Munich Symphonic Orchestra due to a stipendium of the Bavarian Council of Musicians.
Aliya Battalova, born in Karaganada/Kasachstan, studied Oboe at the local specialist institute of music and completed her degree at the Acadamy for Music in Astana with distinction. From 2008-2009 she was a DAAD-scholar at the Richard-Strauss-Konservatorium in Munich and at the Hochschule Nürnberg-Augsburg with Clara Dent. Aliya Battalova currently studies with Heike Steinbrecher at the University of Augsburg (Leopold Mozart Centre).
Performances with orchestras have led her to Russia, Turkey, Germany and Italy. She won prices at the international “Schabyt“ music contest in Astana, at the republican contest of young musicians in Almaty as well as the international contest in Nowosibirsk. Furthermore she participated in diverse master classes, among others with Christian Schneider and Christian Wetzel.
Heiko Hinz, born in Chemnitz/Germany, begann studying clarinet at age 17 under Michael Simm at the Musikhochschule "Hanns Eisler" in Berlin and later changed to the Acadamy of Musik Freiburg. After graduating he absolved his postgraduate studies in the master class of Prof. Dieter Klöcker. In addition to participation in orchestras, among others employment at the Theater Freiburg (till 2002) and solo clarinettist with the Brandenburgischen Konzertorchester Eberswalde (2002 - 2005) he is also frequently active as soloist and chamber musician in Germany and other countries, such as Russia, China, South Korea, Poland, France and Switzerland. From the year 2006 he holds a permanent position in BPOL-Orchester in Munich.
Simon Zehenbauer, born in Penzberg/Germany, became a student at the horn class at Richard-Strauss-Konservatorium München at the age of 15. He was part of several youth orchestras, among others the Bayerischen Landesjugendorchester. After graduating from school he absolved his artistic and pedagogical studies at the academy of music in Munich under Johannes Ritzkowsky, both of which he completed with distinction.
Orchestral performances in several countries (China, Spain, Austria, Swtizerland) as well as temporary arrangements with professional orchestras and ensembles followed. Master classes, among others under Prof. Gaag und Prof. Lampert rounded off his training.
Elisabeth Mauerhofer, born in Graz/Austria. Graduate of concert studies at the bassoon at the Universität Mozarteum in Salzburg (Prof. Richard Galler, Prof. Holger Schinköthe) and graduate of concert studies at the recorder at the Kunstuniversität in Graz. An active chamber musical career included concerts with various orchestras (for example the Bayerisches Staatsorchester München, Wiener Kammerorchester, Grazer Philharmonisches Orchester, RECREATION großes Orchester Graz and the Junge Philharmonie Salzburg at the Salzburger Festspiele) and allowed her to perform in various countries (China, Spain, Italy, Switzerland) and with notable soloists, such as Edita Gruberova and Heinrich Schiff.
